The Gymnastics Samurai is a Japanese anime manga television series animated by MAPPA. It is directed by Hisatoshi Shimizu and written by Shigeru Murakoshi. The anime premiered on October 11, 2020. And has released a total of 4 episodes till now. Covering the sports genre, we find the anime with the same typical plot which is common in this genre. But, the simple, yet intriguing story makes it a little more interesting.

Along with the storyline, the anime blesses our eyes with some interesting characters to gaze at. It has aired only 4 episodes till now. But, still has managed to gather a good amount of praise from the dedicated audience. The story has just started getting  finer. And, as time passes it is going to go into more details. The Gymnastics Samurai Plot

The story chronicles around the year 2002 in the once-powerful Japanese men’s gymnastics troupe. Jotaro Aragaki, the former Japanese team member who dedicated his life to gymnastics, is no longer able to stand upto his expectations. Despite still working his fingers to the bone day after day, he is asked to take retirement by his coach Amakusa. However, a certain happening alters Aragaki’s destiny.
