Apocalypse: The end is the beginning
The story of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ is portrayed through the standpoint of Madison Clark and her flawed family. It seems like waking up to your deadliest nightmare. If the hell breaks loose, either you adapt and learn the skills to survive, or you end up lifeless. Apocalypse is the end or a new beginning for the unknown. Families are ruptured, loved ones lost, and strangers come together to survive.
While fighting the monsters, Friedrich Nietzsche said, “Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process, he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”This remark speaks for itself how dark it gets as it moves forward.
Season 5 of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ left the audience awe-struck and considering the happenings of the last episode. In the final episode of the season, Virginia points a revolver at Morgan and shoots him in the chest and reveals her wish that he dies. She jumps into her jeep and drives away. He speaks his last words over the radio, “Live. All of you. If you can hear me, just live,” and the walkers surround him.
What lies ahead?
Virginia is going to take the control in her hands, subsiding other characters’ aren’t free as before. All actions will have their consequences. All of it is a matter of choice. Will the characters go Virginia’s way, or will they build their own? The last seasons’ frightful ending might be answered in this season.
