Demon Slayer Season 2: All you need to know before watching Demon Slayer



Kimetsu no Yaiba gained massive popularity as soon as the anime broadcast-ed back in 2019. Now available on Netflix!

The anime aired from April to September with a total of 26 episodes which later was on Netflix as well by November 2019. Though there has been a rise in the popularity of several great anime that has come out in recent times. Demon Slayers quite gained an extremely high viewership and further response.

The Anime is based on the manga which goes by the same name and started back in the year 2016 by Koyoharu Gotōge. The manga initially wasn’t as popular as it became after the anime was broadcasted. The Manga status is completed with quite a lovely and happy ending leaving the fans wanting more it.

All About Demon Slayer in a nutshell

Demon Slayer is a Shounen anime set in the early historical era of Japan. The story revolves around the male protagonist, Kamado Tanjirou suddenly discovering his family slaughtered. A demon did this while he was out and the only member who managed to survive was his sister Nezuko, who is also slowly turning into a demon. He was fortunate to have encountered a demon slayer who decides to not kill Nezuko on seeing the will of Tanjirou to turn his sister back to humans. Tanjirou then undergoes and becomes a demon slayer. His sole purpose is to track down Kibutsuji Muzan, the demon who killed his family. Later after tracking, kill him and turn Nezuko into a human.

The Anime adaption for the manga plot was made by Ufotable and they undoubtedly made a fabulous masterpiece. Season 1 of Demon Slayer majorly focused on the male protagonist, Kamado Tanjirou. Shows how he trains rigorously and manages to become a demon slayer. Throughout his journey of growth and hardship he never once thought of giving up on Nezuko for a moment. He further manages to convince people that Nezuko is a demon who is harmless to humans and would never hurt them. The season one clearly shows his growth as an individual in matters of both physical and emotional strength. Not to leave out the friends he makes, Inosuke Hashibira and Zenitsu Agatsuma who are like an inseparable team to go ahead.

What we know about Demon Slayer Season 2?

With Season 1 being such a successful hit the audience is highly expecting a season 2. For the manga status being completed now we are quite positive that we will be having a season two. There has been no official announcement for season 2 but an announcement for a Demon Slayer Movie was made. The official date was October 2020 but things might get delayed due to the pandemic but let’s hope for the best!
